My experience
I have been in the building trade since 1982, starting work under my father when I was 16 years old, so you could say I’m getting the hang of it! Since then I’ve worked with a few different building firms and decided to set up for myself so I could provide a more personal service and choose my own work.
I have worked on small and large jobs, from fixing hinges and dripping pipes to whole extensions and property conversions. I generally work on my own, but on bigger jobs can take on extra staff to help the job along. I am a member of the Federation of Master Builders and CITA, and pride myself on my satisfied clients.

How I work
Builders can have a bad reputation, so I work hard to make sure my customers know what they are getting and to be timely and reliable. I always quote before a job starts and if anything extra comes up, I will let the customer know immediately. When I buy building products I look for quality and value, using materials I would use in my own home.
I am always punctual and reliable, turning up when I say I will and getting the job done. I won’t turn up with a bag of cement one day and disappear for a week! I see the job through and only carry out work I know I can complete to a satisfactory level.
